About Achieve Sports

Squash gear from a squash club, for squash players.

Achieve Sports is a squash shop based at the Fish Hoek Squash Club, a club that has been part of the Fish Hoek community since 1972. We stock rackets, grips, eyewear, balls and accessories from brands players trust, including Dunlop, Karakal, Xamsa, Oliver, Wilson, Tecnifibre and Protec360.

Our story

The shop started life as Shoestring, a squash store at the Fish Hoek Squash Club. In June 2025, it was taken over by a new owner and relaunched as Achieve Sports. We’re still at the club, and it’s still all about squash. We’ve also added an online store so players all over South Africa can shop with us.

The club itself has a long history. Fish Hoek Squash Club opened in 1972 and has hosted players of all ages and levels for over 50 years, including Western Province tournaments. It’s an established club with deep roots in the community, and we’re proud to be part of it.

Achieve Sports is run by a squash coach and former Western Province junior player, so we know what’s worth buying and can help you choose a racket that suits your game, level and budget, rather than just pointing you at the most expensive one.
